ABOUT MAIA

For over twenty years, Maia Love MD has been transforming lives, especially her own. Having directly faced burnout in her medical career and therapy practice, she has practiced and tried out many scientific evidence-based tools to get back to vibrant. Maia has written on burnout prevention in an article entitled Tools for Professional Excellence for a physician journal called This Changed My Practice. She won an award in medical school for her Contribution to Research with the popular talk series that she founded and directed, called BrainTalks at UBC, which was CME accredited and ran for eight years and had audiences of over 200 per talk. She also won an award for her stream-lining of addictions services into the 5 Stages of Change, for more effective referral so that people could go to the services that best met where they were in the journey of a motivation to change.
